WHAT IS HYDROSEEDING?
Hydroseeding is a planting process that involves spraying a slurry of seed, mulch, fertilizer, and water onto a prepared soil surface. This method is commonly used for erosion control, re-vegetation, and lawn establishment. The slurry helps to retain moisture and protect the seeds from wind, water erosion, and wildlife, while the mulch provides nutrients and helps to create a favorable environment for seed germination.

HYDROSEEDING
- Hand seeding can be time-consuming and labor-intensive, especially for larger areas.
- The results may be inconsistent, as it can be difficult to ensure even distribution of seeds.
- Not suitable for steep slopes or areas with poor soil quality.
- Sodding can be expensive compared to other methods of establishment.
- Takes longer for roots to establish and gaps to fill in (checkerboard effect)
- Higher risk of disease and pest problems compared to other methods of lawn establishment.
- Allows for even distribution of seeds and nutrients, resulting in a more uniform and healthy lawn.
- Cost-effective and efficient way to establish vegetation on larger areas of land.
- Great for erosion control on heavy slopes and hard to reach areas.

Southeastern Hydroseed did an incredible job on my backyard. They came out the same week I reached out and was able to provide a solution for my yard at a fraction of the cost of sod. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their yard.
